Welcome
We welcome you as a patient and appreciate the opportunity to provide you with cardiology care. Everyone in this office operates as a team member. We take pride in our professional capabilities and are pleased to be of service to you. The information that follows is designed to answer many of the questions that most patients have.
Office Hours
The Mount Vernon office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, and is open at 7:30 for early patients. The Anacortes office is open from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM Monday through Friday. Please inform the receptionist of your preference and we will do our best to accommodate you.
Appointments
Appointments are based on the doctors availability; therefore, patients are seen on an appointment basis. We request that you call in advance so we can reserve them for you. If you are unable to keep your appointment, you are required to give our office 24 hours notice or you will be charged a $25 cancellation fee. On occasion, emergencies may cause rescheduling of appointments, but we will make every effort to inform you of delays.
No referral is necessary, please have your insurance information ready and call to schedule an appointment”
Emergency Care
We recognize that emergency situations do arise, and we will do our best to respond promptly. Our nurses are available Monday through Friday and urgent calls will be referred to them immediately if you are calling during business hours. In emergency situations, patients will be referred to the nearest hospital emergency room. When you arrive, request that the hospital contact your doctor. If you find it necessary to call after office hours, our answering service will forward your message to the doctor “on call” for this office. We have a doctor “on call” 24 hours-a-day.
