Fees & Insurance

We make every effort to keep down the cost of your medical care. In order for us to do this, we require payment in full or coinsurance payment upon the completion of each visit. Special arrangements can be made with Patient Accounts.

Fees for the doctors’ services are comparable with other cardiologists in the Western Washington area and are based on medical and technical expertise as well as the time involved in each case. If you have questions regarding fees, please don’t hesitate to ask our billing manager.

Your account is considered “past due” at 60 days if there has been no payment received. A rebilling fee of 1% per month will be charged after 90 days.

Insurance

As a service to you, our office will submit claims to most insurance companies as long as you provide us with the correct information. The responsibility for payment is the direct obligation of you, the patient. It is also the patient’s responsibility to check that their insurance will cover their test or visit and to request referrals.

Notice: We keep a record of the health care services we provide you. You may ask us to see and copy that record. You may also ask us to correct that record. We will not disclose your record to others unless you
direct us to do so or unless the law authorizes or compels us to do so. You may see your record or get information about it at our business office. There will be a charge for this service.
